Shakira Austin led Washington with a season-high 29 points on 12-of-20 shooting and eight rebounds. Austin extended her streak of at least 15 points and five rebounds to 13 consecutive games, setting a new Mystics single-season franchise record.

Sonia Citron added 17 points and a game-high eight assists, matching her career high. The second-year guard also reached another milestone, becoming the fastest player in Mystics history to record 500 points, 100 rebounds, and 100 assists in a single season, reaching those marks in 30 games. Despite the result, Washington continued its success inside, extending its streak of games with at least 40 paint points to 10 straight, tied for the second-longest run in WNBA history.
