CareFirst Arena features world-class amenities with a viewing experience to match right in the heart of Washington, D.C.'s Ward 8.
Home to the Mystics since 2019, CareFirst Arena already has a special place in D.C. sports fans' hearts. The intimate feel of the 4,200 seat building has created an intimidating home court advantage that helped propel the Mystics to their first WNBA Championship in 2019. With seats so close to the action there isn’t a better arena in the WNBA to watch a game.

Mystics 2025 Season
CareFirst Arena is now a cashless arena. Purchases made at concessions, the box office, team store, etc, will only take payment through credit & debit cards, and other forms of electronic payment. There is a reverse ATM at the arena, that will allow fans to exchange cash and return it will dispense a debit card.

The CareFirst Arena Box Office is open on Mystics game days for ticket purchases and located near the entrance on the side of the arena on Oak Drive.
Arena Guest Services
If you require assistance during your visit to the CareFirst Arena, please visit our Arena Guest Services concourse window location outside Section 105.
Mystics Fanatics Team Store
CareFirst Arena features two Mystics Team Store locations, outside Section 103 & Section 109. Shop jerseys, the latest styles, and gear up for game day! Club 52 Members receive a 20% discount when showing their member pass.
Metro Travel
Take the Green Line towards Branch Avenue to the Congress Heights Metro Station. Once on top of the escalators, it's a 5-minute walk from the Congress Heights Metro Station to the arena.
Walk through the kiss & ride parking lot and make a right on Oak Drive SE. The CareFirst Arena will be in front of you.

Take An Uber
Let someone else get you to and from the game. Take Uber to the driver drop off on Oak Drive SE, near the arena's box office. Uber drivers can enter the arena at 12th Street and Alabama Ave SE.

- Noisemakers of any kind (such as can operated air horns, sirens, kazoos, whistles, etc.)
- Outside food and beverages
- Pets (with the exception of service animals)
- Poles and staffs (metal, plastic or wooden)
- Professional cameras with detachable zoom lenses and/or tripods
- Umbrellas
- Vape Pens and other electronic smoke devices
- Video camera and audio recording devices (including camcorders, GoPros, Contour cameras)
- Weapons of any kind (includes but not limited to guns, knives, mace, chains, spikes, projectiles, tasers, etc.)
- Wrapped gifts
Bag Policy
Patrons may not enter CareFirst Arena with bags, backpacks, purses, or luggage. Wallet-size clutches no larger than 5” x 7”, medical bags or parenting/diaper bags no larger than 14″ x 14″ x 6″ are permitted. Any medical or parenting bags (child must be present) that are exempted are subject to security screening.
Please note, there are no bag checks or bag storage locations available to the public at CFA.
Events DC reserves the right to confiscate items within the arena that may cause a danger or disruption to the event or to other guests.
We now have a "No Bag Line" at both entrances to CareFirst Arena. The "No Bag Line" is located at the furthest most right lane at the Cherry St. entrance, and the middle lane at the Box Office entrance.
To access the "No Bags Line", fans should have no bags of any kind. Please have your phone, keys, etc. in your hand when going through security screening.
Camera Policy
- Non-professional still cameras (digital or film) are allowed at Mystics basketball games at CareFirst Arena. Non-professional lenses are generally defined as lenses less than 6”in length.
- Professional cameras (generally defined as a camera with a fixed or detachable lenses longer than 6″ or large lenses) are PROHIBITED.
- No flash photography is permitted, regardless of camera size.
- Video cameras, and taking of video with other devices, are prohibited.
- We reserve the right to disallow cameras that, in the opinion of management, will be used to produce professionally marketed images.
- Tripods and monopods are not permitted.
- Standing or positioning oneself in order to take pictures in a manner that obstructs the view or enjoyment of the event by others is not permitted.
- Please note that any and all camera bags are not permitted at CareFirst Arena as the venue has a strict no-bag policy.
- Accredited professional photographers are required to be credentialed and must check-in with our Communications team upon entering our arena.
Code of Conduct
Events DC and the CareFirst Arena are committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all patrons visiting this facility. Patrons may be subject to ejection and loss of access to events without a refund of purchased tickets as a result of the following inappropriate and disruptive behavior:
- Directing obscene, profane or abusive language toward event participants, patrons, or staff
- Communicating obscene, profane or abusive displays on signs, clothing, or other visible representations; this includes chants, gestures, and other activity
- Indecent exposure or the wearing of obscene or indecent clothing
- Excessive consumption of alcohol
- Fighting
- Causing damage to arena property
- Smoking inside of the facility
- Possession or use of any illegal substance
- Scalping or other improper resale of tickets
- Interfering with or refusing security procedures
- Interfering with any operations related to the event
- Throwing any objects; onto the event floor, in the seating area, or on the concourse of the arena
- Failure to follow directions from arena staff regarding policies and emergency procedures
- Any other action warranting ejection and/or confiscation of event tickets by arena security
CareFirst Arena is a smoke free facility and smoking is not allowed anywhere in the arena. Vape Pens or similar are not allowed inside the arena and may be confiscated.
The above listed actions and any other activity deemed disruptive by arena staff will not be tolerated and may serve as grounds for removal. Additionally, by engaging in any of the above enumerated behavior or other disruptive behavior, persons may be subject to other actions including, but not limited to, debarment from the arena, arrest, and/or prosecution.

Your Monumental Sports Account Manager gives you a convenient, simple, and secure way to manage your Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards, Washington Mystics, and Capital City Go-Go tickets free of charge! Using Monumental Sports Account Manager, you can:
View your tickets on your mobile device.
Transfer your tickets to family, friends, or clients.
Sell your tickets using Ticketmaster Ticket Exchange.
If you do not know your password or are logging into your Monumental Sports Account Manager for the first time, your dedicated Membership Services specialist can help answer all your questions or handle requests.
TICKET MANAGEMENT FEATURES
Accessing your Monumental Sports Account Manager:
1. Navigate to your Monumental Sports Account Manager on your mobile device or desktop web browser.
2. Sign into your Monumental Sports Account Manager using your email address and password.
Viewing your mobile tickets:
Once you have logged in on your mobile device, select the event you would like to view.
1. Tap VIEW BARCODE on the individual ticket to display the barcode before you arrive at the venue. Swipe to view your additional tickets.
2. Add each ticket to Apple Wallet or Google Pay. This allows for easier mobile entry into the venue.
*Be sure to turn your screen brightness to the highest setting when you are getting your ticket scanned.
Transferring your tickets:
Once you have logged in on your mobile device or desktop web browser, select the event you would like to transfer.
1. Select SEND.
2. Select each seat you would like to transfer.
3. Enter the recipient details and confirm the transfer.
*You will receive an email confirming that you have successfully transferred your tickets. Please note: you are unable to have tickets you have transferred sent back to your account after the recipient has accepted the offer.
Accepting transferred tickets:
1. Click on the link in the transfer offer email.
2. Sign into Monumental Sports Account Manager or create an account.
3. Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
4. Select the "Claim" button to accept your tickets.
5. Once accepted the tickets are automatically loaded in your own account. To enter the venue via your mobile device, simply select the game you want to attend and select view barcode.
Reselling your tickets:
Once you have logged in on your mobile device or desktop web browser, select the event you would like to sell.
1. Select SELL.
2. Select each seat you wish to post for sale.
3. Set your earning price.
4. Choose whether you would like the payment received to be deposited into your bank account or used for seller credit toward your Washington Mystics account.
5. Continue through the prompts and confirm to submit your listing.
GAME DAY TIPS
Before arriving at the venue to access the event, here are some tips to help expedite your game day entry:
- Access your tickets through the Monumental Sports Account Manager at least 24 hours prior to the event.
- Add your tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay.
- Make sure your phone is fully charged.
- Have your ticket out and ready to be scanned before entering the venue. It is recommended that you send each guest their own individual ticket if the party is arriving separately.
- Reference the seat location on your ticket to access your seat.
Note: If you experience any ticket issues when entering the venue, visit the main box office for assistance.
