The Washington Mystics returned from the FIBA break in a big way Thursday night, defeating the Chicago Sky behind a 110-point team performance to secure their 25th win of the season. With the victory, Washington moves within one win of matching the franchise-record 26 regular-season victories set by the 2019 WNBA Championship team.

The production came from across the lineup, with all five Mystics starters reaching double figures. Shakira Austin led the way with 20 points and seven rebounds, while Kiki Iriafen added 18 points and a game-high 11 rebounds. Georgia Amoore and Michaela Onyenwere each scored 12, and Cotie McMahon added 11.

Austin also made franchise history with her first basket of the night, setting a new Mystics single-season scoring record. She finished the game with 677 points on the year while extending her franchise-record streak of at least 10 points and five rebounds to 23 consecutive games.

Iriafen recorded her 21st double-double of the season and extended her own franchise-record double-double streak to seven straight games. Amoore added a game-high-tying five assists while connecting on four shots from beyond the arc.

Washington controlled the paint with 54 points and continued its historic work on the glass, out-rebounding Chicago 40-27. The Mystics have now outrebounded their opponent 38 times this season, extending their WNBA single-season record. The second unit also delivered, combining for a season-high 37 points, led by Lauren Betts with nine points and eight rebounds.
