The Washington Mystics kept it rolling on Sunday, defeating the Phoenix Mercury by 20 points to extend their winning streak to seven game which is the longest active streak in the WNBA and the second-longest in franchise history. Washington also improved to 5-0 since the All-Star break, remaining the league’s only undefeated team in that stretch.

It was another complete team effort, with five Mystics scoring in double figures for the third straight game. Shakira Austin and Sonia Citron led the way with 19 points apiece. Austin added 11 rebounds for her 14th double-double of the season and extended her streak of 15-point, 10-rebound performances to four games. Citron added six assists and two steals while connecting on five three-pointers.

Michaela Onyenwere and Cotie McMahon each contributed 13 points, with McMahon reaching double figures off the bench for the third consecutive game. Kiki Iriafen added 12 points and nine rebounds while reaching a major milestone: 1,000 career points in just her 72nd game.

Washington continued to win the battles that have defined its season, grabbing 40 rebounds, scoring 42 points in the paint, and matching a season high with 11 steals. The Mystics also connected on a season-best 11 three-pointers while shooting 50% from the floor.
