The Washington Mystics made history on Sunday, defeating the Indiana Fever to earn their 26th victory of the season, matching the 2019 WNBA Championship team for the most regular-season wins in franchise history.

Washington set the tone from the opening tip, pouring in a season-high 34 first-quarter points. The Mystics finished the game shooting 50% from three, scored 50 points in the paint, and held Indiana to 77 points to secure the season series, 2-1. Kiki Iriafen led Washington with 21 points and a game-high 14 rebounds, recording her 22nd double-double of the season. Iriafen has now posted a double-double in eight consecutive games, extending her franchise record and matching the longest streak in the WNBA this season.

Shakira Austin delivered a complete performance with 20 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and two steals for her 19th double-double of the year. Austin also made history on the glass, setting a new Mystics single-season rebounding record while moving into sixth place on the franchise's all-time rebounding list. Together, Austin and Iriafen became just the second pair of Mystics teammates to record 20-point, 10-rebound double-doubles in the same game. It also marked the ninth time this season both have recorded a double-double in the same contest, extending their WNBA record for a pair of teammates.

Sonia Citron added 16 points and a career-high-tying nine assists, helping Washington keep the offense moving throughout the night.
