Shakira Austin built on an All-Rookie season with a sensational sophomore year in Washington. Kira led the Mystics in rebounds per game and double-doubles, despite injuries limiting games played.
Austin continues to be a force in the paint. Defensively, she averaged nearly a block per game, and with the ball in her hands she used her length and athleticism to score consistently.
Kira’s production continues to grow, along with her reputation as one of the best young bigs in the WNBA. We can’t wait to see what she has in store for 2024!
