Game Recap: Mystics vs Wings









The Washington Mystics continued their hottest stretch of the season on Wednesday night, rallying from a 20-point deficit to defeat the Dallas Wings and extend their winning streak to five games. It marked the Mystics' fourth 20-point comeback victory all-time and their fifth double-digit comeback win of the season. The Mystics also secured their third consecutive season-series win over Dallas.
Shakira Austin led the charge with 27 points and 13 rebounds, recording her 12th double-double of the season and her second straight game with at least 25 points and 10 rebounds. Austin also moved into a tie for fifth on the Mystics' all-time blocks list.
The Mystics' depth was once again on full display, with six players scoring in double figures for the second time this season, tying a franchise record. Cotie McMahon sparked the second unit with a career-high 18 points, while Georgia Amoore added 12 points and five assists. Sonia Citron finished with 12 points, Kiki Iriafen contributed 11 points, and Michaela Onyenwere chipped in 10 points, reaching the 1,500-point milestone for her WNBA career.
Washington also continued to dominate the glass, out-rebounding Dallas 34-32, and controlled the paint with a 48-36 advantage inside.
