Game Recap: Mystics vs Sun








The Washington Mystics came up short against the Connecticut Sun on Friday night despite another strong effort on the glass and several standout individual performances.
Georgia Amoore paced Washington with a career-high 14 points, knocking down four three-pointers while adding a game-high five assists. She continued her strong playmaking season, recording her third career game with at least 10 points and five assists.
Kiki Iriafen notched her sixth double-double of the season with 11 points and a game-high 14 rebounds, while also becoming the fastest player in Mystics franchise history to reach 500 career rebounds. Sonia Citron added 11 points and six rebounds, and Shakira Austin pulled down 12 rebounds.
The Mystics finished with 45 rebounds, one shy of their season high.
