The Washington Mystics extended their winning streak to three games on Sunday night, taking down the Minnesota Lynx and continuing their strongest stretch of basketball this season. The victory follows wins over the Connecticut Sun and New York Liberty and marks Washington’s first three-game winning streak since July 2025. Once again, it was a complete team effort.

The Mystics controlled the glass, outrebounding Minnesota 33-27, while moving the ball with purpose throughout the game, finishing with 20 assists. Washington’s bench also played a major role, contributing 26 points and providing a spark whenever called upon.

Sonia Citron led the way with 21 points, delivering another efficient scoring performance while continuing to build on an impressive second season. Citron recorded her fifth 20-point game of the year and helped set the tone offensively from the opening tip.

Kiki Iriafen added 17 points and seven rebounds, continuing her standout sophomore campaign. The All-Star contender was efficient throughout the night, helping Washington maintain its edge against one of the league’s top teams.

The biggest spark came from rookie Cotie McMahon, who turned in the best performance of her young career. McMahon scored a career-high 15 points, knocked down all four of her three-point attempts, and added five assists off the bench. Her energy and shot-making helped fuel a Washington second unit that delivered 26 points in the win.
