Ariel Atkins built on back-to-back All-Star appearances with another dominant two-way season for the Washington Mystics. Atkins set the franchise record for career three-pointers made, and built her reputation as one of the league’s best sharpshooters. On the perimeter defensively, Atkins was part of a formidable defensive trio with Natasha Cloud and Brittney Sykes.
Despite missing time with injuries, Atkins still played a pivotal role on the team. In August she signed a contract extension to remain with the Mystics.
