With a 75.1% chance at scoring the No. 4 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, the Mystics did just that and will select fourth in April’s draft. Narrowly missing the playoffs in 2024, Washington had the highest two-season record of the teams in this year’s lottery and therefore, the lowest chance at securing the first overall pick. Following last night’s lottery, the top of the 2025 WNBA Draft order will be:

No. 1: Dallas Wings
No. 2: Los Angeles Sparks
No. 3: Chicago Sky
No. 4 Washington Mystics

Los Angeles, which had the best odds of securing the number one overall pick, fell to number two behind Dallas in the only drawing to go against the odds.

Washington will also select 6th overall by way of a previous transaction that netted them Atlanta’s first round pick. Additionally, they will select 23rd and 32nd overall in the draft’s later rounds.
