Washington Mystics Move June 7 Game Against Indiana Fever to Capital One Arena

WASHINGTON, D.C. Due to unprecedented demand, the Washington Mystics announced that the game against the Indiana Fever on Friday, June 7 will now be played at Capital One Arena (COA). Tipoff will remain at 7:30 p.m. as originally scheduled and will be broadcast on ION television as part of the WNBA’s Friday Nights on ION series.

Existing season ticket members and plan holders will have their seats relocated to similar locations in COA. Those who have already purchased single game tickets will have an opportunity to select their seats for the game. Beginning Tuesday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m., fans wishing to attend can purchase tickets by visiting WashMystics.com.

The move to Capital One Arena will allow for additional fans in the stands as well as premium hospitality options, including Suites and the all-new all-inclusive courtside Hennessy Lofts.

Last year’s WNBA season was the most watched regular season in 21 years and many teams, including Washington, saw record attendance levels. The Mystics have seen tremendous growth since their 2019 Championship season and last season posted a record nine sellouts.

There has been unprecedented demand for the WNBA this season due in large part to the talent of incoming players from this season’s collegiate draft, including Washington’s first round pick Aaliyah Edwards.
