1,025 REBOUNDS
Emma Meesseman secured her 1,000th career rebound during Tuesday’s game against Minnesota. In doing so, Meesseman became just the 21st active player to reach the milestone.
4 THIRD QUARTER POINTS
While the offense has struggled at times this season, the Mystics’ defense has remained stout, allowing just 80.9 points per game. The defense showed just how tough it can be on Tuesday against Minnesota when it allowed just 4 points in the third quarter. This was just the third time in franchise history that the Mystics have held an opponent to 4 points or fewer in a single quarter.
15 OFFENSIVE REBOUNDS
During Saturday night’s game against Las Vegas, the Mystics totaled 15 offensive rebounds – the most they’ve recorded in a game all season. Washington also out-rebounded Vegas 39 to 29 overall, which is impressive considering the Aces lead the league in rebounds with 36.9 per game.
50.0% THREE-POINTERS
Ariel Atkins has been lethal from distance, making 50.0% of the three-pointers that she has attempted this season. Her 22 three-point makes have her tied for sixth-most in the league.
100% FREE THROWS
During Tuesday’s game against Minnesota, the Mystics made every free throw that they attempted, joining Atlanta as the only two teams to achieve the mark this season. Overall, Washington ranks 4th in the league with an 80.6 free throw percentage.
16.4 EFFICIENCY
Myisha Hines-Allen has a 16.4 efficiency rating through the first three weeks of the season, which puts her at 10th in the league.
36.4 WINNING PERCENTAGE
After a tough stretch last week, the Mystics’ schedule softens over the next three games as they’ll take on the Atlanta Dream, Dallas Wings, and Phoenix Mercury, who have combined for just a 36.4 winning percentage so far this season. Washington will have to take advantage to get back on track.
