Center Agrees to One Year Deal with Washington

The Washington Mystics announced today that they have signed center Amanda Zahui B. to a one-year deal. The Mystics originally acquired the negotiating rights to Zahui B. from the Las Vegas Aces on February 5, 2023, in exchange for Washington’s second round pick in the 2024 and 2025 WNBA draft.

“Amanda can play inside and on the perimeter, a skill set that we value highly in our post players,” said General Manager Mike Thibault. “With her length and athleticism, we are looking forward to her having a significant impact on both ends of the floor. We are thrilled to have her in a Mystics uniform!”

Zahui B. (6-5, 184), who sat out the 2022 WNBA season, last played for the Los Angeles Sparks in 2021. In 30 games (27 starts), she averaged 9.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.2 blocks for the Sparks.
