WASHINGTON, DC – The Washington Mystics announced today they have re-signed players Jacki Gemelos, Stella Johnson and Alicia “Sug” Sutton to training camp contracts.
Gemelos joined the Mystics during the 2020 season and averaged 3.2 ppg and 1.4 rpg in 12 games. In five games with the Mystics, Johnson scored a career-high 25 points against the Atlanta Dream and averaged 5.1 ppg and 1.3 apg to complete her rookie season. Sutton joined Washington in the WNBA bubble, where she averaged 2.8 ppg and 1.0 apg as a rookie.
