Game Recap: Mystics at Wings
The Mystics kept battling against Dallas, led by another steady performance from Shakira Austin and a historic start from Kiki Iriafen.
Austin paced Washington with 12 points on 5-of-10 shooting while adding four rebounds. It marked her fourth straight game scoring in double figures to tip off the 2026 season, the second-longest season-opening scoring streak of her career.
Iriafen continued to own the glass with a team-high 10 rebounds while adding nine points. The rookie forward has now opened the season with four consecutive 10+ rebound games, becoming just the 15th player in WNBA history to do it and one of only two players aged 22 or younger to reach that mark.
Through four games, Iriafen has totaled 66 points and 51 rebounds, making her the youngest player in WNBA history to record 60+ points and 50+ rebounds through the first four games of a season.
Lauren Betts gave the Mystics a lift off the bench with 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting in under 15 minutes of action, marking the first double-digit scoring game of her WNBA career. Washington’s reserves delivered a season-high 31 points as a group, shooting 61.1% from the floor. The Mystics also continued moving the ball well, recording 16 assists for their third straight game with 15+ assists.
