MYSTICS PLAYOFF GAMES TO BE PLAYED AT SMITH CENTER

The Washington Mystics announced today that should the team clinch a playoff spot, home playoff games are set to be played at The Charles E. Smith Center on the campus of The George Washington University barring any scheduling conflicts once the WNBA playoff schedule is announced. Capital One Arena will be unavailable due to the ongoing renovation project continuing through the month of August and into September.

The Mystics (17-11) are currently tied for third place and will play the Phoenix Mercury (16-13) tonight at 10:00 pm EDT.

The Smith Center is the home arena of The George Washington University men’s and women’s basketball teams. The 5,000-seat venue is easily accessible from anywhere in the DC metropolitan area and for the past four years, has served as the home of the Washington Kastles of World Team Tennis.
