Playoffs Clinched
The Mystics have been fighting hard all season long to contend for the 2022 WNBA Championship. The team has been consistently 5th in the overall standing, for a few weeks now. On Saturday, after the Atlanta Dream lost to the Dallas Wings, the Mystics clinched their spot in the playoffs. The official playoff standings are unknown as of right now, but with only five games left in the regular season, the Mystics still have a chance to move up in the standings and secured some home court advantages come post-season.
The team was unable to make the playoffs last season and with some new additions and some healthy key players, the team is looking strong, winning 6 out of their last 8 games after the All-Star Break! Help us support the Mystics all throughout the post season!

‘Stics & Kicks for a Cause
Amidst the first ever ‘Stics and Kicks game this pasted Saturday, the team was able to use the game to give back as well. For the ‘Stics and Kicks game, five custom shoes were worn by players during arrivals and auctioned off. Each pair of shoes raised money for a different charity or organization of the players’ choosing. In addition to the five player specific shoes two other custom sneakers were also available for fans to bid on. One Seattle Storm design in honor of Sue Bird and Briann January’s final regular season game in Washington, and the other pair designed to honor the Mystics 25th season.
The shoes were custom designed by female entrepreneur Sammy Handler (KicksBySammy). The designs were all inspired by the players and tied to causes they are passionate about. The auction ended Sunday, July 31st and raised $12,525 to support The Trevor Project, College Track Ward 8 through Assist DC, Everytown for Gun Safety, the American Library Association, the Humane Rescue Alliance, Spectrum Center Spokane, and the Mystics Fund.
