Mystics Matchup Against Current League Leaders

Hoping to halt their three-game slide, the Mystics head north on Wednesday to take on the Connecticut Sun. After a tough loss in front of a packed home crowd Thursday night, the Mystics are looking to get back into their early season groove this week. Last Thursday’s game pulled big numbers from Mystics guard Natasha Cloud – showcasing season highs in scoring, assists, and rebounds (17, 9, and 5, respectively). It also brought the return of Elena Delle Donne following her four-game absence.

The Mystics are now at a 5-4 record and set up to take on the top-seeded Connecticut Sun on the road this Wednesday, June 13.

To wrap up the week, the Mystics head back home on Friday, June 15, where they face off with the Los Angeles Sparks. The game marks the Mystics first this season with the current west-coast powerhouse, whom they will not see again until mid-August.

Wednesday @ Connecticut (7:00pm ET, ESPN 2)

The Mystics look to their game notes from their last pairing with the Sun on June 3, where they fell 88-64, in order to draw up an elevated game plan and take them down while on the road.

Friday vs. Los Angeles (7:0pm ET, League Pass, NBC Sports Washington)

Taking on their cross-country foes, Friday provides the Mystics a chance to redeem themselves from Thursday’s home loss and take down the league’s current one and two all in one week.
