With the Olympics falling mid-WNBA season, the Mystics have a five-week break between games this summer. Before returning to practice last week, the team was given some time off, and they took advantage.
Stefanie Dolson was named to the U.S. Select Team and trained with the National Team before leaving for vacation.

Jamie Weisner may have had the most exciting break of the team. Not only did she celebrate her 22nd birthday, she also got engaged! Jamie also was able to travel outside of the D.C. area.
With Washington being almost 4,000 miles from her home in Belgium, Emma Meesseman used her break to fly home and visit her family.

Tierra Ruffin-Pratt stayed local and hosted a basketball clinic for boys and girls in Arlington.

The team returned to practice during the second week in August and will play their next game in Indiana on August 27th.
