Monumental Sports Network to Broadcast All Mystics Games

WASHINGTON, D.C. –For the fourth consecutive year, Monumental Sports Network will broadcast all of the Washington Mystics games for the 2018 season. Exceptions include the game streaming on Twitter (May 29) and the nationally televised games scheduled to air on ESPN (June 13, July 19 and Aug. 19). Washington will tip off the season at Capital One Arena against the Indiana Fever on Sunday, May 20 at 1 p.m.

Monumental Sports Network has partnered with NBC Sports Washington to simulcast 12 Mystics games throughout the season. The schedule is as follows:

The team of Frank Hanrahan and Christy Winters Scott will return to the broadcast booth for the ninth consecutive year.  During the broadcast, fans will be able to enjoy unique angles of the game and at times, will see the action through the innovative aerial “robocam.” Monumental Sports Network will also give fans behind-the-scenes, exclusive programming such as the new series, “Get Together,” which features interviews with Mystics players and other influential figures in women’s basketball.


In addition, Monumental Sports Network will lift the local blackout, allowing games to air locally on NBATV. The games will also be streamed live on the Monumental Sports Network app, available through iOS, Android, AppleTV, Xbox, Roku, Windows, Chromecast and Amazon Fire. Fans with iOS and Android devices will be able to watch the game from four different angles and have an interactive and personal viewing experience using the Kiswe multi-cam functionality.
