The Washington Mystics will host the Minnesota Lynx for Game 4 at 8:00 pm, if necessary, of the WNBA Semifinals on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at McDonough Arena located on the southwest corner of Georgetown University campus at 37th Street Northwest, Washington, D.C, 20007. The move to McDonough Arena is necessary due to a scheduling conflict at Capital One Arena.
McDonough Arena is home to Georgetown University’s women’s basketball and volleyball teams. The facility also houses the university’s athletic administration offices, sports medicine and training room facilities, varsity locker rooms, and coaches’ offices. The Mystics will join the Los Angeles Sparks, Minnesota Lynx, and Phoenix Mercury as teams that have all had to play in alternate locations during the 2017 WNBA playoffs.
To facilitate access to Georgetown University, Mystics fans will be able to board the free Georgetown University shuttle bus at stops in Dupont Circle (Red Line) and Rosslyn (Blue/Orange/Silver Lines). Georgetown shuttles will be available to drop fans back off at the same metro stops after the game. Shuttles run every 10 minutes from these locations.
