2017 Draft Pick, Guard Jennie Simms Waived

Washington Mystics head coach and general manager Mike Thibault announced today that the team has waived guard, Jennie Simms.

Simms, a 6-0 guard out of Old Dominion University was selected by the Mystics in the second round (18th overall) of the 2017 WNBA Draft. She played in 10 games in her rookie season with Washington, averaging 1.2 points and 1.1 rebounds per game.

The Mystics will host the Connecticut Sun tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. at Verizon Center.
